19th-20th August, 2026                                          25th-26th November, 2026
Introduction
Business law, also known as commercial or mercantile law, is the body of rules governing business activities, including contracts, sales, company formation, and disputes, providing a framework for commercial transactions, protecting stakeholders, and ensuring fair competition. It covers both civil matters (like contracts) and public regulations (like employment and onsumer protection), regulating everything from daily operations to complex
issues like mergers and intellectual property.Â
A business law course typically covers the legal principles that govern business operations and transactions. Key topics include the nature and sources of law, contract law, torts, property law, intellectual property, employment law, and business organizations. The course aims to equip students with the knowledge to make informed business decisions, identify potential legal issues, and understand the legal implications of their actions.Â
