Introduction
Commercial law (also known as mercantile or trade law) governs the rights, relations, and conduct of individuals and businesses engaged in commerce, merchandising, trade, and sales. It acts as a framework to ensure that business transactions are conducted in a legal, ethical, and transparent manner. Key areas include contract law, company law, intellectual property, and agency. Commercial law typically covers the legal frameworks governing the rules and regulations related to business transactions and trade. This includes topics like contract
law, sales of goods, and consumer protection, e-commerce, intellectual properties etc.
This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and navigate the legal aspects of employment and business transactions

· Sale of Goods: Examines the legal aspects of the sale of goods, including the transfer of ownership, risk, and
remedies for breach of contract.

· Business Organizations: May cover the legal structures of businesses, including partnerships, companies, and other forms of business entities.
· E-commerce: Addresses the legal issues arising from online transactions, including contract formation, payment methods, and consumer protection in the digital space.
· Intellectual Property: Explores the protection of intellectual property rights, such as patents, trademarks, and
copyrights.
· Insurance Law: Examines the principles of insurance law, including different types of insurance contracts
